Welcome to Better Together Events! To me, every part of a wedding is a blast - from the flowers to the stationary to the dresses and beyond. After over-analyzing my own wedding, as well as those of friends I was helping to plan, I thought to myself, "I should do this for a living!" and thus Better Together Events was founded and my career as a Professional Bridal Consultant was born.
I came into wedding planning from the field of Social Science research. I have a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Political Science. This work helped me bring to Better Together a mix of creativity, attention to detail, and financial thriftiness: an ideal combination for wedding and event planning. I have created budgeting tools, timelines for bridal party members and vendors, checklists, and an assortment of other strategies to calm the busy bride. I also completed with honors and distinction the Professional Bridal Consultant program with the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC), making me a Consultant member in the organization.
Better Together Events is a full service event and wedding planning business catering to the Rochester, NY and Finger Lakes areas and beyond. In fact, currently I am planning a wedding in the Boston/Cape vicinity, so for long-distance brides or couples thinking about a destination wedding, I can make your planning a little more stress free or at least provide insight on some romantic or adventurous honeymoon locations.
Perhaps the elements of planning I am most proud of at Better Together are design concepts to make your event truly unique. Whether or not you have your eye on a romantic waterfront celebration, a cozy tented affair, formal nuptials at a grand hall, or you're still working on pinpointing what you want your day to be, I have the tools to coordinate your vision and make your big day just so.
My philosophy is a simple one. From initial consultation to the last thank you note you complete, my goal is to provide personal service, distinctive design, unwavering passion, flawless attention to detail and good humor. I can promise you that I'll be as excited as you are from beginning to end of the wedding planning process.
The name Better Together Events was inspired by one main concept. A wedding celebrates love - that two people have found in each other a place and a person in which they were stronger, in which they were better at anything they've ever done all by themselves because of the other.
